Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata has reintroduced its concierge service, Elite Assist, after a gap of six years. The paid service, launched on February 19, is available for both domestic and international passengers, aiming to enhance the airport experience with personalized assistance.
Elite Assist is designed to help travelers with various services, including baggage handling, priority check-in, and smoother security clearance. The service is expected to benefit senior citizens, first-time flyers, corporate travelers, and those seeking a hassle-free airport experience.
The concierge service is available at four designated counters within the airport: domestic arrival (Gate No. 2), domestic baggage belt No. 8, international arrival (Gate No. 4), and international baggage belt No. 13. Passengers can access the service at these locations for assistance upon arrival or departure.
Officials at Kolkata Airport highlighted that the revival of Elite Assist aligns with efforts to improve passenger convenience and bring the airport’s facilities on par with global standards. The decision to reintroduce the service comes in response to growing passenger demand for premium airport assistance.
With the reinstatement of this concierge service, Kolkata Airport aims to provide a seamless and comfortable travel experience, catering to the needs of both domestic and international travelers.
