Acting director Duaij Al-Otaibi stated that enhanced security measures are currently in place as part of efforts to ensure maximum safety across airport operations. These precautions are aimed at maintaining high standards while awaiting clearance.

Officials emphasized that the airport’s readiness reflects ongoing coordination between aviation authorities and security agencies. The measures implemented are designed to support a smooth and secure return to full-scale services.

The development signals confidence in operational preparedness, with authorities focusing on passenger safety and efficient airport management before fully reopening to normal traffic levels.
