Lufthansa Strike Cancels Flights at Findel.

Operations at Findel Airport faced fresh disruption as ongoing strike action by staff at Lufthansa led to multiple flight cancellations on Friday. At least three services were called off, affecting passengers traveling to key German cities.

The industrial action, which has continued throughout the week, involves both pilots and cabin crew. Pilots had earlier walked out at the start of the week, followed by cabin crew midweek, and have now resumed their strike again. The dispute is centered on demands for a revised collective agreement and improved working conditions.

According to airport updates, the affected flights include the early morning service to Frankfurt and two connections to Munich. While some evening services remain scheduled, passengers have been advised to expect further disruptions as the situation evolves.

In a related development, Lufthansa CityLine is set to suspend operations from Saturday, with its entire fleet of 27 short-haul aircraft grounded. The move comes amid the ongoing strike and rising operational costs, including high fuel prices.
