The industrial action, which has continued throughout the week, involves both pilots and cabin crew. Pilots had earlier walked out at the start of the week, followed by cabin crew midweek, and have now resumed their strike again. In a related development, Lufthansa CityLine is set to suspend operations from Saturday, with its entire fleet of 27 short-haul aircraft grounded. The move comes amid the ongoing strike and rising operational costs, including high fuel prices.
