Lufthansa Unveils New BOSS Uniform Line.

Lufthansa has revealed a new uniform collection designed in collaboration with BOSS, marking a major refresh after more than two decades. The updated designs aim to combine style, comfort, and sustainability while reflecting the airline’s iconic brand identity.

The development process involved extensive input from employees across all uniformed departments. Staff members tested various styles and provided feedback on comfort and functionality, helping refine the final designs. The new collection includes around 40 redesigned and newly introduced pieces, maintaining Lufthansa’s signature dark blue and yellow color scheme.

One of the standout features of the collection is a cape designed for cabin and ground crew, paying tribute to the airline’s heritage while presenting a modern and forward-looking image. The collaboration also establishes a long-term partnership between Lufthansa and BOSS, with both brands emphasizing quality, precision, and timeless aesthetics.

In addition to design innovation, the uniform line focuses on sustainability. Employees will be able to mix and match new and existing pieces, reducing resource consumption and allowing greater personal flexibility. Lufthansa plans to roll out the new uniforms in phases, starting in the fourth quarter of 2026.
