Lufthansa Unveils New Oktoberfest Look for 2026.

Lufthansa is marking Oktoberfest 2026 with a fresh Bavarian-inspired look for its cabin crew on selected flights departing from Munich. The airline’s familiar uniforms will be replaced by specially designed traditional Tracht outfits created by Bavarian heritage label Spieth & Wensky.

The outfits blend traditional Bavarian elements with Lufthansa branding, featuring the airline’s crane logo on knitwear buttons and its distinctive Wing Pattern incorporated into the skirts and waistcoats. The new Trachtencrew debuts on September 19, with flights from Munich to Bengaluru and Beijing, followed by a special Singapore flight on September 27.

Lufthansa’s Oktoberfest celebrations also include Bavarian-inspired meals on selected flights, specially decorated German lounges and Oktoberfest-themed amenity kits. The Trachtencrew tradition began 20 years ago, when the first crew flew from Munich to New York in 2006.
