Philippine Airlines Expands A350-1000 Toronto Service.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is strengthening its North American operations by deploying a second Airbus A350-1000 on its Manila–Toronto route, beginning 05 June 2026. The move marks another step in the airline’s ongoing fleet modernization strategy and aims to enhance capacity on one of its most important long-haul international services.

The addition of a second A350-1000 will allow PAL to offer more seats and improved operational flexibility on flights between Manila and Toronto. The aircraft serves as the carrier’s flagship widebody jet and features upgraded cabins designed to provide a more comfortable travel experience for passengers flying between the Philippines and Canada.

Toronto remains a key destination in Philippine Airlines’ international network, serving a large Filipino community and strong business and tourism demand. By increasing the deployment of its newest aircraft on the route, the airline is positioning itself to better meet growing passenger demand while improving overall service quality.

The Airbus A350-1000 is the largest and most advanced aircraft in PAL’s fleet, offering enhanced fuel efficiency, extended range, and modern passenger amenities. The expanded use of the type on the Toronto service highlights the airline’s commitment to strengthening connectivity between the Philippines and North America.
