Spanning an impressive 5,260 square meters, this state-of-the-art facility underscores the airline’s dedication to ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of animals in transit.
The launch of this groundbreaking Animal Centre coincides with the relaunch of Qatar Airways Cargo’s Next Generation Live product, reaffirming the airline’s position as a leader in live animal transportation. Mark Drusch, Chief Officer Cargo at Qatar Airways Cargo, emphasized the significance of prioritizing the emotional needs of animals during travel, stating, “We have built here a 5-star facility for any live animals we transport.”

Offering round-the-clock veterinary care and advanced amenities, the Animal Centre sets new standards in live animal transportation. The facility features 140 dog kennels, 40 cat kennels, and 24 horse stables, each equipped with separate airflows to ensure optimal comfort and safety.
