Union Minister of Civil Aviation Shri Ram Mohan Naidu today launched the ‘Career Guidance Programme in Aviation’ aimed at introducing school students to the wide array of opportunities within the aviation sector. The inaugural session of this initiative took place at the Indian Aviation Academy in New Delhi and was attended by students from Classes 11 and 12.
The programme has been designed to spark interest and awareness among young minds about the various career paths available in the aviation industry. From piloting and air traffic control to aircraft design, airport management, aviation safety, and ground operations, the guidance sessions aim to offer students a comprehensive understanding of the field.
Speaking at the launch, the Union Minister highlighted the importance of building future talent for India’s fast-growing aviation sector. He emphasized that early exposure and structured information can encourage more students to consider aviation as a viable and exciting career choice. The programme also aims to address the growing demand for skilled professionals as India continues to expand its aviation infrastructure and services.
The event featured interactive sessions, expert talks, and presentations that showcased the dynamic nature of the aviation industry. Officials from the Ministry of Civil Aviation and professionals from various aviation domains participated, offering insights into their roles and career journeys.
