Riyadh Air Opens Dreamliner London Route.

Saudi Arabia’s newest airline, Riyadh Air, has officially launched ticket sales for its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner flights between Riyadh and London Heathrow. The airline confirmed that its brand-new aircraft will begin full commercial operations from July, marking a major step in its global expansion plans.

Until now, Riyadh Air had been operating limited flights to London using a leased aircraft as part of testing and proving activities. The upcoming launch will be the carrier’s first scheduled international service using its own fleet of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.

The airline is positioning itself as a premium global carrier with modern cabins, advanced onboard technology, and ambitious expansion targets. Riyadh Air plans to connect more than 100 destinations worldwide by 2030 while supporting Saudi Arabia’s wider tourism and aviation growth strategy.

Backed by massive aircraft orders and strong government support, Riyadh Air is expected to become a major competitor in the international aviation market alongside leading Gulf carriers in the coming years.
