Riyadh Air has revealed that it has received more than 2 million job applications since its launch was announced in 2023, highlighting the strong global interest in joining Saudi Arabia’s newest national carrier.
Speaking in an interview, Riyadh Air CEO Tony Douglas said the airline has attracted applications from 146 different nationalities over the past two-and-a-half years. He described the response as remarkable and a reflection of the airline’s growing international appeal.
Douglas also noted that Riyadh Air’s cabin crew already represents more than 60 nationalities, underscoring the carrier’s commitment to building a diverse and multicultural workforce as it prepares for commercial operations.
The milestone comes as Riyadh Air continues expanding its team, taking delivery of its first aircraft, and preparing to launch services as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy to transform the Kingdom into a major global aviation hub.
