Russia launched a large-scale assault on Ukraine’s energy sector, firing more than 400 drones and around 40 missiles, President Volodymyr Zelensky said. The attacks targeted critical power infrastructure, worsening pressure on Ukraine’s electricity supply.
The Ukrainian leader said Moscow continues to choose military escalation over diplomacy and warned that Russia is using energy disruption as a tool of pressure, especially during cold conditions.
