SpiceJet, Akasa planes collide at Delhi airport.

A SpiceJet aircraft was involved in a minor ground collision with an Akasa Air plane at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 2:15 pm during taxiing, when the SpiceJet aircraft clipped the stationary Akasa Air plane near the terminal area. Both aircraft were on the ground at the time, and initial reports suggest the impact was minor.

No injuries have been reported, but both aircraft are expected to undergo detailed inspections to assess any structural damage. Airport authorities have initiated a probe into the incident.

Such ground collisions, though rare, highlight the importance of strict adherence to taxiing protocols and coordination between ground control and flight crews at busy airports.
