SWISS is set to welcome its third Airbus A350-900, registered HB-IFC and named “Zug,” in Zurich on September 12. The new aircraft is part of the airline’s ongoing long-haul fleet modernization programme.
The delivery flight LX5291 is scheduled to operate from Toulouse to Zurich. Before landing at Zurich Airport, the aircraft is planned to make a special circle over the city of Zug, paying tribute to its namesake.
The A350-900 is becoming an important part of SWISS’s future long-haul fleet, with the airline gradually replacing older aircraft while introducing its modern SWISS Senses cabin experience.
