Tata Picks Ramco For IAF C-130J MRO Digital System.

Tata Advanced Systems Limited has selected advanced aviation software from Ramco Systems to power the digital backbone of its upcoming defence Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility for the Indian Air Force.

The facility will support maintenance operations for the Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules aircraft operated by the Indian Air Force. The digital platform will help manage maintenance planning, engineering processes, supply chain operations and aircraft readiness.

The new system is expected to streamline maintenance activities, improve operational efficiency and enhance fleet availability for the Indian Air Force’s C-130J transport aircraft. The platform will integrate key MRO functions, allowing better tracking of aircraft components and servicing schedules.

The project highlights India’s growing focus on strengthening domestic aerospace maintenance capabilities while supporting defence operations through advanced digital technologies and local industry partnerships.
