Thai Airways has officially resumed nonstop flights between Bangkok and Amsterdam on July 1, 2026, marking the airline’s return to the Dutch capital after a 28-year absence. The carrier last operated the route in 1998.
A special launch ceremony was held at Suvarnabhumi Airport, where CEO Chai Eamsiri welcomed the inaugural service before the aircraft departed.
The airline will operate the route daily using its Airbus A350-900, offering both business and economy class cabins.
Flight TG936 departs Bangkok at 05:35 and arrives at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at 12:40 local time. The return service, TG937, leaves Amsterdam at 14:15 and lands in Bangkok at 06:35 the following morning.
Thai Airways said the schedule has been designed to provide convenient onward connections. The midday arrival in Amsterdam offers easy access to European rail and flight networks, while the early morning arrival in Bangkok allows passengers to connect seamlessly to domestic destinations such as Phuket and Chiang Mai.
The relaunch strengthens Thai Airways’ European network and is expected to boost tourism, business travel, and trade between Thailand and the Netherlands.
