India’s aviation sector is set to expand in 2025 with the launch of three new airlines—Shankh Air from Uttar Pradesh, and Air Kerala and Al Hind Air from Kerala. These carriers aim to enhance regional connectivity and cater to the growing demand for air travel.
Shankh Air will become the first scheduled airline from Uttar Pradesh, with plans to establish its hub at the upcoming Noida International Airport. This strategic move will connect tier-2 and tier-3 cities to major destinations, boosting the region’s economic growth.
Kerala will see the debut of Air Kerala and Al Hind Air. Air Kerala, long anticipated, will focus on connecting the state with major domestic cities and international destinations, particularly in the Gulf region. Al Hind Air will also strengthen Kerala’s aviation network by offering increased domestic and regional connectivity.
The arrival of these new airlines reflects the rapid growth of India’s aviation industry. Their entry is expected to increase competition, improve services, and provide more affordable travel options while supporting regional development and enhancing global connectivity.
