United Airlines has announced the largest international network expansion in its history, adding 10 new international cities and three new routes for 2027.
Starting as early as March 2027, United will connect U.S. cities with destinations including Okinawa, Toulouse, Luxembourg City, Marseille, Ibiza, Valencia, Terceira, Ljubljana, Olbia and Catania. The airline says it will be the only U.S. carrier offering nonstop service between the U.S. and eight of these destinations.
United will also add Los Angeles–Osaka, Washington Dulles–Milan and Denver–Paris, while restarting San Francisco–Tel Aviv on March 28.
The expansion will make significant use of United’s new Airbus A321XLR, which features 20 Polaris suites, 12 Premium Plus seats, Starlink Wi-Fi and 4K OLED entertainment screens. The aircraft will begin international operations later this year before taking on more long-haul routes in 2027.
