WestJet has extended its partnership with the Toronto Blue Jays for another seven years, celebrating the agreement with the unveiling of a specially painted Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
The aircraft, registered C-GORP, was revealed at WestJet’s Toronto hangar on June 23, 2026, featuring a blue and white design inspired by the baseball team’s identity. The aircraft’s tail displays the famous Blue Jays logo, combining the branding of both organizations.
The rollout event was attended by former Blue Jays players Pat Borders and Edwin Encarnacion, along with team mascot ACE. WestJet also announced infielder Ernie Clement as its new player ambassador.
The special aircraft is scheduled to operate its first commercial flight from Toronto Pearson International Airport on June 24, 2026.
The extended partnership celebrates two major milestones: WestJet’s 30 years of airline operations and the Blue Jays beginning their 50th season, marking another chapter in the collaboration between Canadian aviation and sports.
