Navi Mumbai International Airport is set to expand its domestic connectivity to 46 destinations starting April, strengthening its position as one of India’s largest greenfield airports. The move includes the launch of multiple new routes connecting key cities across the country.

According to the airport, operations will scale up significantly during the summer schedule, with around 1,092 weekly air traffic movements and an average of 156 daily flights. Airlines such as IndiGo, Akasa Air, and Air India Express are increasing capacity to support the growing demand.

The airport, which began operations on Christmas Day last year, was inaugurated by Narendra Modi in October. Its first summer schedule, running from March 29 to October 24, 2026, reflects a major boost in domestic aviation connectivity.

With this expansion, Navi Mumbai Airport is expected to ease congestion at Mumbai’s existing airport while enhancing passenger convenience and supporting India’s rapidly growing air travel market.
