Singapore Airlines has postponed the relaunch of its flights to Riyadh by three months, shifting the start date from June 2 to September 1, 2026. The delay is linked to ongoing instability in the Middle East region.
Earlier, the airline had limited bookings on the route to higher fare classes through August, hinting at a later launch. This cautious approach has now been officially confirmed, aligning with the revised September restart timeline.
The decision reflects the airline’s strategy to prioritise safety and operational stability amid regional tensions. Adjusting schedules allows the carrier to better manage demand and risk while maintaining service quality.
Despite the delay, Singapore Airlines is expected to resume operations on the route once conditions improve, reinforcing its long-term commitment to expanding connectivity in the Middle East market.
