Seattle-Tacoma International Airport has officially opened its new C Concourse expansion, adding a four-story extension featuring ten new dining and retail outlets, an airfield observation area, and space for a major airline lounge.
Alaska Airlines has confirmed plans to open its flagship global lounge in the new facility by late 2027. Spanning more than 41,000 square feet across two levels, the lounge will accommodate around 700 guests, making it the largest airport lounge in Seattle and one of the biggest in the United States.
The lower level will serve lounge members, first-class passengers, and day-pass visitors, while the upper level will be dedicated to international long-haul travelers and top-tier frequent flyers. The project supports Alaska Airlines’ strategy to expand its growing international network from Seattle.
Once completed next year, the facility will offer premium dining, upscale bars, and panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains, enhancing the travel experience for passengers passing through the airport.
