United Airlines has announced 10 new international destinations, calling it the largest international expansion in the airline’s history. The new routes will launch from spring 2027, connecting U.S. cities with destinations across Europe and Asia.

Five of the new routes will use the Airbus A321XLR, including Newark services to Marseille, Valencia, Ibiza and Luxembourg City, along with Washington Dulles–Toulouse. The aircraft’s long range allows United to serve smaller international markets that may not support larger widebody aircraft.

Other new services include Newark–Olbia and Catania on Boeing 767-300ERs, Newark–Ljubljana on a 767-400ER, Newark–Terceira on a 737 MAX and San Francisco–Okinawa on a Boeing 777-200ER.

United will also increase service on existing routes, including Denver–Paris, Los Angeles–Osaka and Washington–Milan, while restoring San Francisco–Tel Aviv service.

Most new routes will begin in May and June 2027, with Toulouse starting April 26 and Ljubljana on May 12.
