Actress Selma Blair Arrested After Alleged Delta Flight Assault.

Actress Selma Blair, known for Legally Blonde and Cruel Intentions, was reportedly arrested following an alleged onboard disturbance aboard a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to New York on October 11, 2026.

According to US media reports, Blair allegedly attempted to open an aircraft door, punched one flight attendant and bit another during the flight. Both crew members reportedly sustained injuries, with one taken to hospital for further evaluation. The pilot requested medical assistance before the aircraft landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport at approximately 11 p.m.

Reports also state that Blair allegedly kicked a police officer while being transported by ambulance and later kicked a nurse at the hospital. She appeared in court on October 12 and pleaded not guilty to two state assault charges related to the alleged incidents. A judge set bail at $20,000 cash or a $60,000 bond.

Her legal representatives reportedly attributed the incident to a medical emergency involving neurological symptoms and missed medication. Blair disclosed her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2018. She has not been convicted of any offence in connection with the incident.

The case has renewed concerns about cabin crew safety and the challenges of managing disruptive behaviour and medical emergencies aboard commercial flights.
