Africa World Airlines (AWA) has taken delivery of its first Embraer E190, marking an important step in the airline’s plans to expand its regional network across Africa.
The new aircraft arrives shortly after AWA relaunched its Accra–Abidjan service on August 31. The airline is also planning additional aircraft acquisitions as it looks to strengthen connectivity between key destinations in the region.
The E190 is expected to support AWA’s growing operations while providing additional capacity and flexibility for regional routes.
