Air France and KLM, two of Europe’s largest airlines, have announced an expansion of their winter flight schedules to India, adding 11 new flights to increase their operations from 39 to 50 weekly services. This increase, effective from November 5, 2024, will enhance connectivity between India and Europe, offering more options for travelers flying to and from major Indian cities, including Delhi (DEL), Mumbai (BOM), and Bengaluru (BLR).
The expanded schedule will feature flights to Air France’s hub in Paris (Charles de Gaulle Airport) and KLM’s hub in Amsterdam, significantly improving the frequency and availability of flights on these key routes. Air France and KLM plan to operate up to 50 weekly flights between their respective European hubs and Indian gateways, with the additional flights scheduled to serve high-demand routes for both business and leisure travelers.As part of this expansion, Air France will introduce a second weekly flight between Paris and Delhi, bringing its total flights on this route to three per week. This added frequency will provide more flexibility for passengers traveling between India and Europe, particularly on the busy Delhi-Paris route.
