Air India B787-8 Lands After Refurbishment.

Air India’s first refurbished Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport, marking a major step in its fleet upgrade plan. The aircraft returned after undergoing a comprehensive cabin refit in California.

The refurbishment is part of Air India’s $400 million modernization program announced after the Tata Group took over the airline. The upgrade focuses on enhancing passenger comfort and onboard experience across long-haul operations.

The aircraft received extensive interior improvements, including upgraded seating, modern cabin features, and refreshed aesthetics. These enhancements aim to align Air India’s services with global aviation standards.

This refurbished Dreamliner will be deployed on key international routes, strengthening Air India’s long-haul network while offering passengers a significantly improved flying experience.
