Air India Express has launched a new daily flight service connecting Delhi, Guwahati, and Dimapur, starting January 1. This new service is designed to enhance connectivity between these key cities, offering passengers greater convenience and streamlined travel options.
The Airbus A320 flight departs from Delhi at 10:25 a.m., with a brief 35-minute layover in Guwahati before continuing on to Dimapur, where it is scheduled to land at 2:40 p.m. On the return leg, the flight will leave Dimapur at 3:20 p.m., make a stop in Guwahati, and arrive back in Delhi at 7:40 p.m. This daily service is expected to significantly improve travel options for passengers commuting between the three cities, particularly benefiting those traveling to and from the northeastern region of India.
By linking Delhi, the national capital, with Guwahati and Dimapur, Air India Express aims to streamline travel in the region while enhancing passenger comfort and convenience. This new route forms part of the airline’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence and operations across India’s northeastern states, which have seen growing demand for air travel in recent years.
This launch follows Air India Express’s recent announcement in late 2024 to increase operations from Guwahati, further emphasizing its commitment to improving regional connectivity. The daily Delhi-Dimapur service is expected to support both business and leisure travelers, providing an easier, more efficient travel experience for those looking to explore or conduct business in the northeastern part of the country.
With the introduction of this new flight, Air India Express continues to strengthen its network, offering more options for passengers while contributing to the growing aviation infrastructure in India’s northeast.
