Airbus has rolled its first A350F freighter out of the paint shop in Toulouse, featuring a unique delivery-box-inspired livery with shipping labels and the words “open here for business” around the cargo doors.

The aircraft, registered F-WXLD, received the design after Airbus held a public competition that attracted around 4,000 entries. The final livery combines designs from the winning entries by Dublin graphic designer John Feehan and Calgary brothers Quinnten and Ellisten Iversen.

The aircraft is now preparing for its first flight. Airbus is reportedly targeting September 24, although technical checks or weather could push the flight into October. The company has publicly committed to flying the aircraft before the end of 2026.

The A350F program has faced delays, including issues with its large cargo door, pushing its planned entry into service from 2025 to late 2027.
