Airbus Secures $15.8B Deal for 101 Aircraft.

Airbus has secured a major order worth over $15 billion from China Eastern Airlines for more than 100 aircraft from its A320neo family. The agreement highlights strong demand for next-generation narrowbody jets in the global aviation market.

The deal includes aircraft from the highly efficient A320neo series, along with the long-range Airbus A321XLR. Deliveries are expected to begin in the coming years, supporting China Eastern’s fleet expansion and modernization plans.

China Eastern is already a significant operator of Airbus aircraft, utilizing both narrowbody and widebody jets across its network. This latest order further strengthens its long-standing partnership with the European manufacturer.

The agreement is seen as a major vote of confidence in Airbus, especially as it continues to secure large-scale orders from Chinese carriers. The deal underscores the growing importance of China’s aviation market and Airbus’s strong position within it.
