Airport Fees Reduced From April 1.

Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines has announced a major reduction in airport fees effective April 1, aiming to ease travel costs and boost passenger traffic. The decision covers multiple charges, including landing, takeoff, and passenger service fees.

Aeronautical fees for landing and takeoff will be cut by nearly 50 percent, with savings reaching up to around P5,000 per landing. This move is expected to support airlines in managing operational costs while encouraging more flight operations.

Passenger service charges for international travel will drop from P900 to P700. Meanwhile, domestic passenger fees at international airports will be reduced from P350 to a range of P150 to P200, offering relief to local travelers.

Additional reductions will apply across airport categories. Principal Class 1 airport fees will decrease to P150–P200, while Class 2 airports will charge around P100. Community airport fees will also be halved to P50, making air travel more affordable overall.
