Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport plans to make American Airlines the anchor airline of its planned West Terminal, marking the airport’s first new terminal project in nearly 40 years.
American Airlines currently operates more than 300 peak daily departures from Phoenix, connecting the airport with over 100 destinations and serving around 20 million customers annually.
The new terminal is expected to strengthen American’s operations at PHX while supporting future passenger growth and improving the overall airport experience.
