British Airways Flight Declares Emergency Over Ireland.

British Airways flight BA295, operating from London Heathrow to Chicago O’Hare, reportedly declared an emergency while flying over Ireland after making a rapid descent from around 37,000 feet to 9,000 feet.

The aircraft reportedly squawked 7700, the internationally recognized transponder code used to indicate a general emergency to air traffic controllers.
