IndiGo Raises Fuel Charges on Domestic Flights

IndiGo has increased fuel charges on its domestic and international flights following a sustained rise in Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices. The revised charges apply to all new bookings made from 12:01 a.m. on October 6.

For domestic flights, the fuel charge will range from ₹375 to ₹1,300, depending on the distance. Flights up to 500 km will attract ₹375, while journeys of 501–1,000 km will have a ₹600 charge.

For flights covering 1,001–1,500 km, the charge will be ₹900, while routes between 1,501–2,000 km will attract ₹1,150. Flights exceeding 2,000 km will carry the highest charge of ₹1,300.

The increase comes as airlines continue to face pressure from higher fuel costs, with ATF remaining a major component of airline operating expenses.
