A team of doctors turned a Delhi–Aizawl flight into an emergency medical ward after a critically ill kidney patient’s oxygen level suddenly dropped to just 40% during the journey.

The doctors immediately responded and provided emergency treatment to stabilize the passenger while the aircraft continued toward Lengpui Airport in Aizawl.

After landing, the medical team intubated the patient and accompanied him to the hospital, where an ICU bed had been secured. Their quick response helped stabilize the critically ill passenger.

The incident highlights the importance of trained medical professionals responding quickly during in-flight emergencies, where immediate medical assistance can be crucial.
