Emirates has become the first airline cargo operator to deploy the converted Boeing 777-300ERSF, marking a major milestone in air cargo operations.
The aircraft, registered A6-EBK, has been transformed from a passenger aircraft into a freighter and offers an impressive payload capacity of around 100 tonnes with approximately 811 cubic meters of cargo space.
The 777-300ERSF provides around 25% more cargo volume compared with the production Boeing 777F, giving cargo operators additional capacity and flexibility.
The aircraft is expected to strengthen Emirates’ cargo operations by supporting global freight demand and improving efficiency across its international network.
The deployment highlights the growing role of passenger-to-freighter conversions as airlines look for cost-effective solutions to expand cargo capacity.
