India Updates Passport Fees For Citizens In Kuwait.

The Embassy of India in Kuwait has announced revised fees for passport and consular services, effective from July 1, 2026, following a notification from the Government of India.

The fee for a regular 36-page passport has increased from KD 23 to KD 38, while the tatkaal (expedited) service fee has risen to KD 76 from KD 68.

For 60-page jumbo passports, the charges have been revised to KD 53 for normal service and KD 91 for tatkaal applications.

Replacement passports for lost or damaged documents will now cost KD 76 for 36-page passports and KD 91 for 60-page passports, with higher tatkaal charges applicable.

Passport fees for minors and senior citizens have also been updated, with the new discounted rate set at KD 26 for normal applications and KD 65 for tatkaal service.

Charges for several certificate services, including police clearance, surrender certificates, no-objection certificates, and NRI certificates, have also increased to KD 13.

However, emergency certificate and certificate of identity fees will remain unchanged.

The embassy advised Indian citizens in Kuwait to check the updated fee structure before applying for passport and consular services.
