Leading Edge Air Services Corporation (LEASCOR) has officially taken delivery of the first Cessna SkyCourier in the Philippines, marking a significant milestone for the country’s regional aviation sector.
Built by Textron Aviation, the 19-passenger turboprop is designed for maximum versatility, featuring a passenger-to-freighter conversion kit that allows operators to quickly switch between carrying passengers and cargo. The aircraft is also powered by reliable Pratt & Whitney engines and offers strong short-field performance, making it ideal for operations in challenging environments.
The addition of the SkyCourier is expected to strengthen domestic logistics, tourism, and air connectivity across the Philippine archipelago. Its ability to serve smaller airports and remote island communities will help improve transportation links and support economic development in underserved regions.
LEASCOR plans to use the aircraft to expand both passenger and cargo services, opening new opportunities for regional travel and freight transport. The delivery represents another step forward in enhancing aviation connectivity across the Philippines.
