FitsAir Launches Colombo–Ahmedabad Flights

FitsAir has expanded its international network with the launch of new direct flights connecting Colombo and Ahmedabad. The new service aims to strengthen travel links between Sri Lanka and Gujarat while supporting tourism, business, and cultural exchanges.

The Colombo–Ahmedabad route will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, providing passengers with more convenient connectivity between the two destinations. The launch adds another important international link to FitsAir’s growing network.

A special welcome ceremony was held at Bandaranaike International Airport to celebrate the inaugural Ahmedabad flight. The event was attended by airline representatives and aviation industry stakeholders.

The new route has been launched in partnership with Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, City of Dreams Sri Lanka, and Walkers Tours Sri Lanka, highlighting efforts to promote travel and tourism opportunities between India and Sri Lanka.
