GE Aerospace has announced a $1 billion investment in its U.S. manufacturing facilities and supplier network for 2026, marking its second consecutive billion-dollar investment.
The company is also hiring 5,000 U.S. workers, adding to the 5,000 employees recruited last year. The investment will support more than 30 communities across 17 states, expanding production of CFM LEAP engine components, modernizing manufacturing sites, and increasing defense engine output.
Since 2024, GE Aerospace has committed over $2.5 billion to domestic manufacturing and suppliers. The company says the investment will strengthen commercial and military engine production, with output expected to continue growing through the 2030s.
