IndiGo Airlines, one of the largest low-cost carriers in India, is reportedly exploring options for a new narrowbody aircraft order, and intriguingly, this potential order does not involve the Airbus A320 family, which has been the backbone of its fleet. The airline, owned by Interglobe Aviation, has primarily relied on Airbus aircraft, with a current fleet of approximately 410 planes, including temporary leases and ATR turboprop aircraft.
