KLM has officially introduced its first Airbus A350-900, registered as PH-ZNA, into transatlantic operations, marking an important step in the airline’s long-haul fleet development. The aircraft has begun flying across the Atlantic, making its initial appearances on the airline’s Amsterdam–Toronto route.
The new A350-900 is operating between Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) with five weekly frequencies. Its deployment brings KLM’s latest-generation widebody aircraft to one of its key North American destinations.
The Airbus A350-900 is designed for long-distance operations and is known for its advanced aerodynamics, fuel-efficient engines and modern cabin technology. Its introduction is expected to support KLM’s long-haul network while contributing to the airline’s ongoing fleet modernisation plans.
With PH-ZNA now in transatlantic service, KLM has taken another step towards expanding the role of the A350 in its international operations.
