Kuwait has strongly condemned the recent drone attack targeting Saudi Arabia, which was reportedly launched from Iraqi airspace. In a statement released on Monday, Kuwait’s foreign ministry described the incident as a serious threat to regional stability and security.
The ministry stated that the attack represents a blatant violation of international law and relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, specifically mentioning Resolution 2817. Kuwaiti officials warned that such actions could further escalate tensions across the region.
Kuwait also reaffirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and expressed support for any measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its security, territorial integrity, and national stability. The statement highlighted the importance of maintaining regional peace amid ongoing security challenges in the Middle East.
The condemnation comes as regional governments continue monitoring developments linked to cross-border drone threats and growing security concerns involving attacks launched from neighboring territories.
