The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has successfully conducted the Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), and Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) Licensure Examinations from June 15 to 19, 2026.
The five-day examination series was organized through CAAP’s Airmen Examination Board (AEB) at the Regional Office Area Center III in Clark, with a total of 180 aviation professionals and aspiring candidates participating.
CAAP said the examinations are part of its commitment to ensuring that pilots and aircraft maintenance personnel meet strict standards of knowledge, technical skills, and competency required to maintain aviation safety and operational excellence.
The authority emphasized that building a skilled aviation workforce is essential for the continued growth and development of the Philippine aviation sector. Through standardized and rigorous licensing procedures, CAAP aims to produce professionals who follow the highest standards of aviation safety and performance.
