Qatar Airways has announced a major increase in capacity between Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, expanding its daily services between Hamad International Airport in Doha and Dubai International Airport from two to five flights per day beginning 5 June 2026. The move comes in response to strong travel demand across one of the Gulf region’s busiest air corridors.

The expansion will be introduced in phases, starting with an immediate increase to three daily flights. A fourth daily service will be added from 15 June, while a fifth flight is scheduled to return during the peak summer travel season. The additional frequencies are expected to provide passengers with greater flexibility and more convenient travel options throughout the day.

Qatar Airways will operate the enhanced schedule using a mix of Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft, offering increased seat capacity and a premium onboard experience. The deployment of widebody aircraft on the route reflects the airline’s confidence in continued demand from both business and leisure travelers.

The strengthened Doha–Dubai operation further enhances connectivity through Hamad International Airport, allowing passengers easier access to Qatar Airways’ extensive global network. The expansion underscores the carrier’s commitment to meeting growing regional demand while reinforcing links between two of the Middle East’s most important aviation hubs.
