The former Spirit Airlines headquarters campus in Dania Beach, Florida, has been sold for $93.25 million in cash, just months after the airline ceased operations as part of its bankruptcy liquidation.
The winning bid came from DPC HoldCo LLC, an affiliate of Boston-based investment firm Hill City Capital, during a bankruptcy-court auction held on August 11, 2026. The bid surpassed the previously announced $88 million stalking-horse offer.
The sale includes Spirit’s main office building, training facilities, parking and other campus facilities at 1731 Radiant Drive. The airline officially opened the new headquarters in April 2024 after investing heavily in the development.
Spirit had previously planned a $250 million corporate-campus investment at Dania Pointe. The eventual $93.25 million sale price represents roughly 37% of that originally announced investment.
The transaction still requires approval from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, with a sale hearing scheduled for August 19. The property’s sale marks another significant step in the liquidation of the once-growing low-cost airline.
