SriLankan Engineering Signs Jetstar Maintenance Deal.

SriLankan Engineering has signed a long-term Line Maintenance Agreement with Jetstar, part of the Qantas Group, to provide aircraft maintenance services for Jetstar flights operating to Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Under the agreement, SriLankan Engineering will support Jetstar’s Boeing 787 operations at Bandaranaike International Airport, providing technical and line maintenance services to support the airline’s operations in the country.

A key development under the partnership is SriLankan Engineering’s planned acquisition of CASA Part 145 approval from Australia. Once obtained, the approval would allow the company to provide full certification services for Jetstar flights operating to Sri Lanka.

The agreement strengthens cooperation between SriLankan Engineering, Jetstar and the wider Qantas Group, while highlighting SriLankan Engineering’s growing role in providing international aircraft maintenance and technical support.
