STARLUX Airlines is showcasing its premium long-haul experience with an itinerary connecting Tokyo to Prague via Taipei, with both flight legs operated by the Airbus A350-1000. The aircraft feature the airline’s Premium Economy cabin, offering 36 seats in a 2-4-2 configuration.
A highlight of the journey was the second leg, from Taipei to Prague, aboard B-58553, the specially painted silver AIR SORAYAMA A350-1000. The aircraft is one of two unique jets created through STARLUX’s collaboration with renowned Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama, known for his futuristic chrome-inspired artwork.
The special livery features Sorayama’s distinctive metallic aesthetic, giving the aircraft a striking appearance. The collaboration also extends into the cabin, with dedicated amenity kits and specially themed onboard items created exclusively for the two aircraft.
Alongside the silver aircraft, STARLUX operates a gold-themed A350-1000 as part of the same artistic partnership. Since October, the two AIR SORAYAMA aircraft have been operating on routes from Taipei to Tokyo, Prague and Phoenix, bringing the distinctive design to several destinations across the airline’s network.
The aircraft highlight STARLUX’s approach to combining premium passenger comfort with distinctive design and an artistic identity across its long-haul fleet.
