Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) is set to launch non-stop flights between Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) and Zurich Airport (ZRH) on October 28, 2026. The new service will establish South India’s first direct air link to Switzerland.
Part of the Lufthansa Group, SWISS will operate five flights per week in each direction. The first Bengaluru departure is scheduled for October 28 at 4:50 a.m., arriving in Zurich at 10:50 a.m. local time. The first flight from Zurich will depart on October 27 at 1:20 p.m. and arrive in Bengaluru at 2:55 a.m. the following day.
Bengaluru–Zurich flights are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, while Zurich–Bengaluru services will operate on the other days of the week.
The launch will make Bengaluru SWISS’s third destination in India, after Delhi and Mumbai. It is also expected to improve travel options for passengers from southern India heading to Switzerland and other international destinations.
Zurich’s role as a major European hub will offer travellers convenient onward connections across Europe and North America, benefiting both business and leisure passengers.
