The integration of Valkyrie’s Gunslinger system will significantly strengthen the aircraft’s ability to detect and counter unmanned aerial threats on the battlefield.
The Gunslinger platform uses AI-driven software to support real-time tactical decisions during operations. Its system is designed to help crews quickly locate, track, and neutralize hostile drones, improving the overall efficiency of counter-UAS missions.
Modern militaries often deploy high-end fighter aircraft to intercept drones, which can be extremely costly. With the Gunslinger upgrade, the A-29 Super Tucano offers a more economical and flexible option for counter-drone missions while maintaining strong operational performance.
