IndiGo Airlines announced that starting 14th March 2026, all new flight bookings will include an additional Fuel Charge to help manage rising jet fuel costs. The charges per sector are as follows:
- Domestic India: ₹425 per sector
- Indian Subcontinent: ₹425 per sector
- Middle East: ₹900 per sector
- South East Asia & China: ₹1,800 per sector
- Africa & West Asia: ₹1,800 per sector
- Europe: ₹2,300 per sector
The airline stated that this adjustment will ensure operational efficiency while continuing to provide safe and reliable travel for passengers across its domestic and international network. IndiGo emphasized that transparency in ticket pricing remains a priority, and the fuel charge will be clearly reflected in all bookings.
